Daphne, thank you so much for reading and for sharing your own experience. Tic disorders are so misunderstood because, as you rightly point out, most of the representations we see in storytelling or media are not driven by narrators who are living with tics themselves. All that aside, I'm glad your son has such a supportive mom on his team!
